Learn more about Country Candles and Collectibles with answers to our most Frequently Asked Questions:

Why choose soy candles?

Soy wax is 100% natural and contains no artificial ingredients and no toxins. Soy is a biodegradable, renewal resource and is environmentally safe. It burns longer than paraffin waxes and burns virtually soot free. It cleans up easily with soap and hot water. Soy helps decrease the dependency of crude oil and does not come from an oil refinery. And finally, it supports American farmers who grow soybean crops.

What is the symbol in your logo and what does it mean?
The “Distlefink” was the good luck bird of the Pennsylvania Germans. It actually was a stylized version of the Goldfinch. The goldfinch eats thistle seed and uses thistle down for its nest and was called a “Thistlefinch” from which comes the Pennsylvania Dutch “Distlefink.” This distlefink sign is a symbol of good luck and happiness. The heart adds a measure of love and the tulips represent faith.
